Meditation the path to Intelligence and Wisdom

“Meditation brings wisdom; lack of mediation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.” ~Budda

Meditation helps you get closer to your spirit and attain peace of mind, from a peaceful state of mind creation of anything is easier. Several researches have shown that the people who have been prosperous have always been used to regularly meditating.

So then what is Meditation?

Meditation is the practice of the emptying the mind of all thoughts and feeling the presence of the complete self. Meditation takes time, practice and perseverance, but there is no other thing that can give you value commensurate to what meditation will give you.

Initially when I started meditating, I took some time to completely clear my mind of all unnecessary thoughts but since the day I started meditation my life has been improving for the the better.

The initial days in meditation are tough, but as you keep practicing, you suddenly start making progress in leaps and bounds.

At a certain point I learned that its easier to empty the mind of thoughts by allowing the thoughts, than trying to reject them, then I started making progress in leaps and bounds.

Let the reason to mediate be to connect to your inner self the pure spirit that is one with the universal spirit, this is what helps you attain peace and tranquality, then move on to your day-to-day life, you will find yourself to be much wiser and intelligent.

Many people say you must meditate to be more productive or to make money, etc, yes, these things are outcome of meditating regularly, but let that not be the reason to meditate, let the reason to meditate be to connect to your inner self and that alone.

“Meditation is the dissolution of thoughts in Eternal awareness or Pure consciousness without objectification, knowing without thinking, merging finitude in infinity.” ~Swami Sivanada

I truly started meditating to clear my mind because I used to have troubled thoughts, but as I kept meditating, I understood better about myself and was introduced to the glory of our true self. The same will happen to you too, though this path is tough what you reap when you are there is unexplainable in words, it can only be experienced.

“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless – like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” ~Bruce Lee

Meditation will help you believe in your self, have you heard the famous track Innuendo by Queen – “You can be anything you want to be, Just turn yourself into anything you think that you could ever be, Be free with your tempo, be free be free, Surrender your ego – be free, be free to yourself”

Queen did not put this lyrics in the track just like that, he knew it to be true so did Bruce Lee, when you know yourself you too will know this to be true, and the journey through meditation is the pathway to truly knowing yourself.

Once you know your true self you will know that there are truly no limits, the only limits are the one’s that are set by the mind. Then Meditation wont be a practice any more but will become the way of life.
